Dan the Mustache Man
He shaved his mustache. Now what am I supposed to call him? Dan the Mustacheless Man? Dan the Unhairy Man? Dan the Clean-shaven Man? Dan the Naked Upper Lip Man? I just don't know. Why do people have to go and change the way they look so I have to change their nicknames? (Sigh of frustration).

I find it wise to keep the names. It avoids confusion. People will ask about Dan the mustache man
Yeah, keep the original name. He might grow it back. Maybe he shaved it cuz he read your blog.
I think he should go by Dan the Man formally known as the mustache man.
